Filey Dams

A quick stop at Filey Dams, to show my son the Pintail that I spotted here last week - typical it wasn't there!  But we did see a selection of birds, notably a Woodpecker, Slavonian Grebe and Shelduck.

As we sat in the hide we caught a glimpse of a Fox trotting down the edge of the reserve along the boundary fence.

We then went on to the second hide where a Slavonian Grebe had been seen recently.

Then we saw the Slavonian Grebe, a first for all of us, it was great to see.

My son, Oliver got this shot of a Robin on the way to Scarborough Mere.
