Kings Mill, Driffield

With an hour or so free on Saturday afternoon, the family decided on a walk to Kings Mill.  The kids fed the ducks (and gulls!), good opportunity for a little photography.

Highland cattle are a recent addition to the pasture to help maintain the habitat and stopping it from getting too overgrown, they are not fussy eaters unlike the kids!

This robin was fiercely defending its territory with lots of calling to his neighbour followed by a good old chase through the trees.

Autumn is a great time of year to find different fungi - I thought this form of bracket fungus was great.
